Bernie Saunders

Bernie Saunders is an awakener. Believing that life is a work of art, he brings a rich blend of forty years of experience as an artist, author, life coach, presenter, and organizational consultant. He has spent his life bringing alive the natural beauty of nature and of people.

Bernie is the Founder and President of the Center for Living Art, and works with people to connect more deeply with themselves and with the important relationships in their lives.

Bernie’s most important learnings include playing in the woods as a child, falling in love with the camera his father gave him in junior high, planting rice in the Philippines, working with young adult drug addicts, raising two sons with his wife, Constance, and guiding leaders to realize their authentic selves.

His clients have ranged from Fortune 50 companies, foundations and non-profits, to small manufacturers and health care providers. Bernie is the co-author of the internationally acclaimed book, Ten Steps to a Learning Organization, author of the personal enrichment program, Boundless Renewal: Embrace the Power of Reflection, and co-author with his mother, Kay Saunders, of the inspirational and award winning book The Grace of Ordinary Days: An Invitation to Celebrate Life’s Journey.

Constance Saunders

During the past 40 years, Constance Saunders has expressed her artistry in sewing, pottery, drawing and weaving. Mostly recently, she has interpreted nature in thread on her own hand-painted silk. In her unique Thread Impressions, color and texture capture the beauty of nature, and invite you to respond.

Constance also enjoys instructing young children, helping sustain the Center for Living Art through numerous behind-the-scenes activities, and playing a supporting role in her two grown sons’ lives.
