Celebrating the Treasures of the Moment

posted on Saturday, July 5th, 2008 in Presentations

During times of volatility and doing more with less, it is the little things – those special, often over-looked interactions with others that make all the difference. Bernie Saunders blends his original photography, audience involvement, and 40 years of work experience mixed with doses of humor, to help people rejuvenate themselves by embracing the day’s treasures as a way to successfully mange the roller coaster ride so common today.

By using the beauty of art, this presentation provides a new perspective on how to enrich one’s life, to have a clearer vision about what is important and a renewed dedication of person-centered care, personally and professionally.

Sandwiched by Love

posted on Friday, July 4th, 2008 in Presentations

Many adult children are facing the demands of child rearing, while simultaneously discovering that their parents are in need for more help because of failing health, loss of financial stability, or the death of a spouse.

“Sandwiched by Love” is a three-part series that addresses key challenges facing many people: Bridging the Transition Gap: Helping Adult Children & Their Parents; Bridging the Generations: The Power of Differences: and, Bridging Relationships and Health: The Healing Power of Nutritious People.

The sessions can be conducted during a days program, or offered over a period of time.  The series can also be offered as a webinar.

Certainly there’s nothing new about children reaching an age where they begin to take on more as a care provide role for their parents. For those who have gone through or are experiencing it now, the emotional and physical toll can be fierce.

Leading Complexity Artfully: A Different Way

posted on Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 in Presentations

Many individuals and organizations become averse to risk and protective during challenging times. As fear increases, our natural human capacity to creatively solve problems diminishes.  To move past our fears, leaders need to lead in extraordinary ways to ensure that an entrepreneurial edge flourishes. Today’s unprecedented challenges call for courageous and creative responses in leaders.

By presenting a highly creative and interactive experience, Bernie guides leaders in exploring the difference between possibilities and restrictions, embracing the transition to a new beginning, and valuing chaos as an ally that leads to thriving.
